Sticker Charts as Aid to Good Behavior

Aside from tracking chores and
earning points for rewards, sticker charts can even help adjust
behavior problems
A positive tool to help teach
your child is sometimes overlooked after potty training is over. My
husband and I were strong believers in the "sticker chart" system for
helping our daughter to get potty trained. It worked so well then, that
we are still using that system now and she is 6 years old. It is a very
fun project for her to help in creating and she loves putting the
stickers on the chart upon completion of each task.
One time it worked very well
was when she really wanted a guitar. We told her we would purchase it,
but she had to earn it and we would use the sticker chart to help out.
She had to do seven daily chores and one big chore for the week. She
needed to stick to this plan for four weeks in order to get her guitar.
